Windstream Router Login

Windstream web-based user interface allows you to change WiFi password, Network Name (SSID), and default router settings at http://192.168.254.254/.

How to login to Windstream router?

  1. Open a browser and type http://192.168.254.254 in the address bar.
  2. Enter the Username: admin and Password: admin and click Login.
  3. You will be logged in to the Windstream router settings.

Note: The Router IP Address, Username, and Password will be printed on a label on the back of your router.

How to change Windstream Wi-Fi Password and Network Name?

Actiontec

  1. Log in to the Gateway’s user interface.
  2. Select Wireless Settings from the top menu.
  3. Go to Wireless Settings > Basic Settings.
  4. Enter the Wi-Fi Network Name in the SSID Name field.
  5. Select Security Key Type as Use Custom Key/Passphrase and enter your Wi-Fi Password in the field.
  6. Click Apply.

Sagemcom

  1. Log in to the the modem interface.
  2. Select Wi-Fi/Wireless settings.
  3. Enter the Wi-Fi Network Name in the SSID field.
  4. Enter the Wi-Fi Password in the Password field.
  5. Click Apply.

2-Wire

  1. Log in to the gateway’s interface.
  2. Select Home Network > Wireless Settings.
  3. Enter the Wi-Fi Network Name in the Network Name field.
  4. In the Wireless Network Security section, select Use custom encryption key.
  5. Enter the Wi-Fi Password in the Key field.
  6. Click SAVE.

  1. Log in to the gateway interface.
  2. Navigate to Wi-Fi > Wi-Fi Home.
  3. Enter the Wi-Fi Network Name in the Network Name (SSID) field.
  4. Enter the Wi-Fi Password in the Password field.
  5. Click Save.

  1. Log in to the user interface.
  2. Go to Basic Setup and select Wireless from the left-hand side menu.
  3. Select 2.4GHz or 5GHz > Basic.
  4. Enter the Wi-Fi Network Name in the SSID field and click Apply/Save.
  5. Select 2.4GHz or 5GHz > Security.
  6. Enter the Wi-Fi Password in the WPA/WAPI passphrase field and click Apply/Save.
